Adivinhem quem está de regresso / Guess who's back

No ano passado foi um prazer fazer estas bonecas, mas para que o gosto pelas mesmas permanecesse, tive de lhes dar descanso, pois a rotina corta-me o gosto pelas coisas. Assim, ficaram na gaveta todos estes meses, mas estão prestes a sair de novo à cena.

About an year ago, it was a great pleasure to make these dolls but I had to stop, otherwise they would have become a routine, and I don't like routines. They've been resting in the top drawer and now they are ready to become alive.

Do workshop / From the workshop

O workshop na Dot Quilts foi há quase um mês, e como se estendeu para além da hora (muito para além da hora...) houve uns pequenos detalhes do trabalho que ficaram para completar. Só anteontem tive oportunidade de terminar o saco de patchwork que fiz sob a orientação da Luísa.

Parece fácil. Não é difícil, mas a matemática da técnica requer algum treino.

The workshop at Dot Quilts was almost one month ago, and as it went beyond the schedule (much beyond...) there wer small details which haven't beeen completed. Only on Monday I had the opportunity to finish it.

It looks easy. It's not difficult, but the mathematic involved requires some practice.

Azul / Blue

Azul foi a cor escolhida para fazer um pequeno mimo para mim, afinal isto de fazer só para os outros também "cansa". Já está quase pronto, mas este vai permanecer "top secret". Bem podem tentar adivinhar que eu não vou mostrar. :-P

Blue was the chosen colour to make a small treat for myself, after all I spend all the time making stuff for other people and that becomes "tyting". It's almost finished, but it will remain "top secret". You can give a guess but I'm not going to show you :-P

...só me falta encontrar a coragem para por mãos à obra. O calor tem sido demais e o atelier parece um forno.Esta é a última de uma encomenda de três t-shirts de adulto que a T. me encomendou. Com um pouco de sorte ainda as entrego amanhã. Será?

...I only need to find the courage to start working. It has been very hot and the study fells like an oven. This is the last of an order of three adult t-shirts ordered by T. With a bit of luck and I hand them in tomorrow.
