Embora sejamos fãs do IKEA, nem sempre temo oportunidade de lá ir, pois o mais perto fica em Sevilha (a cerca de 250km) e as idas a Lisboa são demasiado curtas para conseguir ter tempo para lá ir. Apesar disso, esta é a nossa colecção IKEA.
Although we are fans of IKEA we don't have that many opportunities to visit it as the nearest one is in Seville (about 250km away) and when we are in Lisbon we are always short of time. Despite this, here's our IKEA collection.
E Páscoa que é Páscoa tem de ter folar e amêndoas. Das amêndoas fica apenas a recordação e fotos das do ano passado. Do folar fica a imagem antes que desapareça. Por aqui o folar é feito de um modo diferente: a massa é esticada num rectangulo, barrada com um pouco de manteiga e polvilhado com açúcar e muita canela. Depois é enrolada ou colocada por camadas dentreo de um tacho para ir ao forno. Pode, ou não levar ovos cozidos no meio.
Easter has to have folar (Easter cake) and sweet almonds. From the almonds I only have the memories and the pictures from last year. From the cake, hese's the picture before it's gone. Around hre this cake is diffeent from the rest of the country. The dough is made into a rectangle and butter is spread on it as well as sugar and lots of cinammon. Then it's rolled or folded and put in a pan to go to the oven. It can take, or not, boiled eggs.
Not sure if they have that fabric at our Ikea, but some zip pouches are in order if we do!
