Today's tip: patchwork vs. quilting

"Patchwork refers to an item made of two or more fabrics sewn together to create a visual pattern. Quilting refers to the stitching that holds three layers of fabric together (the top piece is often patchwork, the middle is usually cotton batting, and the bottom is usually a plain fabric)."
